The Conscious garments are made from a number of eco-friendly materials such as:
- Organic Cotton: Grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers and has the same high quality as conventional cotton
- Recycled Polyester: The main source for recycled polyester is PET plastic bottles and waste raw material from production, it saves natural resources, saves energy in production and has a lower greenhosue gase emissions and use of chemicals
- Recycled Polyamide: Ideal for jersey, made from textile production waste as well as fishing nets or carpets! It saves natural resources, energy in production and also has low emissions of chemicals.
- Recycled Plastic: Great material for hair accessories and jewellery, as well as the H&M shopping bags.
- Organic Linen: Grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisters; the result is safer for farmers and has a reduced environmental impact. It has the same quality as regular linen with no use of genetically modified fibres.
- Recycled Cotton: Made from textile remnants, woven and spun into new fabrics.
- Recycled Wool: From worn out woollen garments and remnants of fabric; reduced the use of land and chemicals.
- TENCEL: Silk-like renewable material produced from cellulose with minimal environmental impact.
- Organic Hemp: Can be like linen and cotton.
- Organic Jute: Grown in a sustainable environment and is the same high quality as conventional jute with zero chemical emissions.
