Monochrome Courts

I found the perfect pair of monochrome leather court shoes from Kurt Geiger today! They're bang on trend, white pointed court shoe with a black toe cap. The perfect office to night out shoe! 

These are called 'COCO' from KG by Kurt Geiger, £100. Heel height is 11cm/4.5in and also come in all black patent.

Feeling Summery!

Apologies for the lack of blog posts recently, its been pretty manic with university work as well as starting the mammoth task of the job hunt!!

But this evening I was internet browsing because I am craving a shopping trip, it has honestly been too long (withdrawal symptoms are starting to show). I was really looking for anything in particular but came across these nude beauties from Kurt Geiger...

The only problem now is which ones do I want for the summer?

Gravity Defying Shoes

It all began with Lady Gaga... She has been photographed wearing some real mind boggling shoes!
The pair of shoes worn by Lady Gaga in the first picture were designed by a man called Noritaka Tatehana; he took his inspiration from traditional 'geta' geisha shoes to create his 10 inch (or higher!) wedges. Lady Gaga pretty much boosted his brand single handed, which now means that his shoes sell for around $15,000 a pair!!

Noritaka Tatehana: "My work became an icon. It worked not only as branding for me. It also became part of her branding".

As with all luxury, expensive designs, they eventually reach the high street at an affordable price for all us regular bods! Amy Childs was pictured yesterday wearing a spectacular cream pair of studded wedges in a similar style (not as extreme of course!), these were from her cousin Harry Derbridge's shop 'Harry's World' in Essex.

Red Soles

Almost every girl out there aspires to own a pair of Christian Louboutin's famous red sole shoes; but the problem is they are pretty pricey! I would love a pair myself but they are slightly out of a student's budget! But earlier today when I was just checking out all my favourite online shopping websites, I found that missguided.co.uk have a great range of Louboutin look-a-likes for a fraction of the price (and they offer 10% Student Discount, result!). Some of these shoes will definitely be going on my wishlist!

Super-Studded Heels

If you are wanting a 'wow' pair of shoes to go with your LBD then head to Kurt Geiger for their 'Starheel Supershoes'. These shoes range from summer wedges, platform courts, peep toes, sling-backs and sandals. Each of these shoes consist of various bright, fun colours with gold/silver studs; some seriously killer heels! Personally I have my eyes set on the Eris tan pair of studded peep toes; although I may have to wait until I have some more funds in my bank with prices ranging from £110 - £190.
